Meet the Team: Cameron McElwaney
Cameron McElwaney recently joined DTP as a Front-Line Systems Administrator I on July 24, 2023. His primary role is to serve as a point of contact for DTP customers from a technical standpoint. In his crucial role, Cameron properly triages and gathers documentation from customers to begin working towards a resolution of their inquiry. When asked what he has enjoyed most about working at DTP so far, Cameron states, “the opportunity to grow my technical skillset alongside talented teams.”

What are your top 3 favorite video games?
Chess, Auto-Chess, and Path of Exile.
If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you want to go?
I would like to visit New Zealand!
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Graduating from university as a non-traditional student.
What’s the coolest place you’ve ever been?
Japan by far.
What book(s) would you recommend everyone read?
Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut.
What movie have you seen the most times?
Shaun of the Dead.
What’s your dream vehicle?
1967 Mercury Cougar.
What are your favorite hobbies?
I would say I have a lot of hobbies, but primarily soccer, table tennis, kickball, and gaming. I do a bit of coding in JavaScript (Node.js/Express) and C# from time to time, as well.
