Meet the Team: Zerlina Smith
Zerlina Smith joined the company on March 8, 2021, as DTP’s Staff Accountant. She brings a positive energy to her work and has quickly become an integral part of our accounting team. Her responsibilities include cycle accounting: AR, AP, Payroll, GL, Taxes, and Financial Reporting.
Zerlina cites the culture, the people, and the EOS business model as some of the best aspects of working at DTP. She has shared some information about herself to help us get to know her better.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you want to go?
Greece
What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?
As an accountant, most people naturally think you like nothing more than a quiet night at home. Although there is some truth to that, I also like trying new things. Especially when it comes to travel, culture, and food.
What’s your favorite meal?
Though I love, love all seafood, my all-time favorite is blue crab.
What’s at least one item on your bucket list?
RVing across the country.
What’s a unique talent you possess?
I love to draw and paint. I can lose myself in it for hours. I’m much better and drawing than painting though. I once won 3rd place in an art contest in high school for a drawing of the Virgin Mary.
What movie have you seen the most times?
Last Dragon…I am a bit of a Kung Fu fanatic.

What are your favorite hobbies?
Outside of arts & crafts, scouting for unique new restaurants to try.
