Welcome to the family, Randy!

We asked Randy to answer a few questions to help us get to know him better.

What’s something you could give a 30-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation? How the World Wars are still shaping global current events to this day.

What’s your favorite problem you’ve ever solved for a customer?
I had an older user that couldn’t for the life of them figure out why their thumb drive wouldn’t work. It was a super simple fix, but that user was the most grateful person when I pulled their documents up.

If you had to summarize your life philosophy into one sentence, what would it be?
You might know more than I do, but you’ll never out work me.

Do you speak any other languages?
No, but I’m working on learning Spanish.

What are your top 3 favorite video games?
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Perfect Dark and Elder Scrolls.

Who was your hero growing up? Who is your hero now?
Joey Jordison. He single handedly sparked my interest in drumming and I did everything I could to emulate his style.

If you could travel to anywhere in the world, where would you want to go?
Scotland and Northern Italy. I would love to go see where my family came from.

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I got married in Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah.

What were the first and last concerts you went to?
First was Red Hot Chili Peppers and last was probably Nor Am I’s reunion show.

What’s your favorite meal?
My wife’s kale soup. I know, it’s weird but it’s so good.

What’s something you wish you knew more about?
The world pre-history. There’s just so much we don’t actually know for certain.

What’s at least one item on your bucket list?
My Mom and I have always wanted to go to Ireland/Scotland.

What’s the coolest place you’d ever been?
New Orleans.

What movie have you seen the most times?
Life with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. I’ve seen it a million times and I could watch it a million more.

Can you play any instruments?
I’ve played drums since I was probably around 10. I play a little guitar too but drums are where my heart is.

What is your proudest accomplishment?
Having kids.

What’s your dream vehicle?
1967 Shelby Mustang GT500

Where are you originally from?
I was originally born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida but my parents moved north after Hurricane Andrew.

What are your favorite hobbies?
Camping. I really enjoy unplugging and getting to spend time with my family without all of the tech and hustle and bustle of life.
