Meet the Team: Ben Pruyne
This quarter, we learn a little more about Ben Pruyne who joined DTP on Oct. 18, 2021.
Ben is our newest Systems Administrator II. In this role, he assists DTP’s numerous clients with the varying IT related issues they experience.
When asked what he likes best about the company, Ben states he is enjoying the people he works with and that he loves helping people with their problems.
We asked Ben to answer a few questions to help us get to know him better.
What movie have you seen the most times?
I don’t watch a lot of movies, but I have re-watched the Anime Yu Yu Hakusho many times.
What book(s) would you recommend everyone read?
The Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson and any of the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett.
Can you play any instruments?
I’ve been trying to teach myself acoustic guitar for a while now and I can kind of play it.
What are your favorite hobbies?
Cooking and baking. Putting together Gunpla Model Kits. Practicing Guitar.
What are your top 3 favorite video games?
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Final Fantasy X/X-2, and Dark Souls 3.
What’s something you wish you knew more about?
I wish I knew more about computer circuitry, I have so many ideas that require that specific knowledge.
What’s your favorite meal?
African Peanut Soup.
What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?
People are often surprised to learn that I served in the Marine Corps, considering how calm and laid back I tend to be.
