What’s your favorite problem you’ve ever solved for a customer?
A patient had a hospital bill with charges totaling over 1 million dollars for one visit to the Emergency Department.  It was initially thought there would be no coverage available to the patient.  I was able to work with the patient’s attorney in order to establish coverage.  In the end, the hospital was able to recoup an 85% reimbursement of total charges on the hospital bill.  This took many months of negotiating and a customer who was very unsettled. Carrying over 1 million dollars in aging over 240 days for one bill is something they do not want to see on the books.  The outcome of the large reimbursement was beyond what the customer had imagined as they were prepared to write off total charges with a 0% reimbursement or a minimal reimbursement of around 7%.  A victory for both the hospital and the patient.

If you had to summarize your life philosophy into one sentence, what would it be?
Treat kindly and it’s much more fun to give than to receive.

I’m an introvert.

Visit and experience the wine country.
